Qvadis Releases eBestseller List for 2001
Toronto, ON - 31 December 2001 - Qvadis, developer of the award-winning Express Reader integrated desktop publisher and ebook viewer for Palm devices, has released the Qvadis eBestseller List for 2001.
Along with the Qvadis eBook Library - currently the largest archive of free e-texts for Palm Powered handhelds, with over 5,000 titles - Qvadis offers thousands of ebooks, many for sale in partnership with leading epublishers and ebook distributors as well as through its own publishing imprint, Editio-Books. The Qvadis eBestseller List represents ebooks with the highest net sales for 2001.

Topping the general and nonfiction lists is a previous Independent eBook Award nominee, Healing the Inner Worker by Mike Verano, published by Editio-Books, an insightful and provoking guide to surviving work in the 21st century. The fiction list is headed by The Oracle Trilogy by Hugo and Nebula award-winning author Mike Resnick, published by Fictionwise.com, an epic work of science fiction and fantasy which traces the life of a girl with a unique form of precognition.

All titles - free and for-sale - are compatible with Qvadis Express Reader, the first integrated ebook publisher and viewer for desktop PCs and devices running the Palm OS. Qvadis Express Reader has quickly gained in popularity and critical acclaim since its release for its simple and intuitive, yet powerful, design.

"Qvadis Express Reader has been embraced by many handheld enthusiasts as their ebook reader of choice, because of its Zen-like ease of use and functionality," said Sam Peralta, CEO of Qvadis. "The Qvadis eBestseller List highlights the range of ebook offerings now available to our growing community of users."

In addition to the eBestseller List and eBook Library, the Qvadis website offers a popular eBook-of-the-Month feature, industry news and reviewed links to over 125 other sites offering ebooks compatible with Qvadis Express Reader.
