Power UniMount Battery now Shipping

Oakland, California - Revolve Design, a leader in mobile computing solutions, announced today that it is now shipping its much anticipated Power UniMount docking cradle line. The Power UniMount system provides essential mounting/charging solutions for efficient, in-vehicle or desktop, Palm handheld usage.

Revolve Design's new Power UniMount series products are available with an innovative, smart Rechargeable Battery / Charger system developed for heavy industrial usage. The system provides fast Charging and extended Battery life, features not found on other after-market charging system for Palm handhelds. With Power UniMount, users can enjoy close proximity and secure placement of the Palm organizer in a vehicle, while relying on continuous, worry free usage when combined with GPS receivers or Wireless modems. The line also includes an optional, on-board Serial pass-through port connection for use with direct cable connections to peripherals. The Palm is quickly installed and removed from the UniMount cradle with the touch of a button.

Power UniMount is compatible with the PalmIII, TRGPro, PalmVII and Symbol SPT1500. Similar solutions for the PalmV, PalmIIIc and Handspring Visor handhelds are due to release Q1 2001.
