WinPhone-Pocket by BVRP Software

Most of us have come to know and love the fax machine. It helps us throughout our everyday lives, whether at work or at home.
More recently came the PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). Almost everyone has one. It is almost impossible to go through an airport without seeing many people using their PDA.
Now, thanks to new software called WinPhone-Pocket by BVRP Software, the two have merged. Instead of having to use your fax at home or work, you can use it anywhere. In a car, in a plane, outside, inside, wherever you are with your PDA.
Requirements
All you need to use WinPhone-Pocket is a PDA running either Windows CE or the Pocket PC OS. You will also need a mobile Internet connection so that you can send and receive faxes and use the SMS service.

Setting it Up
After installing it to your PDA, open the program and tap Tools > Settings. Select your Communications port, manufacturer, model, and maximum fax speed see figure 1 below.
You can also enter your individual information and other settings like fax layout. Now you're ready to use it.
To send a fax, tap New > Fax Then, enter their name and contact information. If you want you can add them to the address book that WinPhone-Pocket has built-in. Select the cover page, enter your text, and even an attached text file (.txt) if you would like. Then, you can preview your fax, and send it off.
Also, an SMS (Short Message Service) function is included with the program. Tap New > SMS. Enter your short message. You then have the choice of sending it immediately of sending it later.
Usefulness
This is a good program for sending and receiving faxes and for using the SMS.
In Conclusion...
In conclusion, this is a great program, as long as you have the necessary equipment, and you don't mind part of the fax being in French (since the company is based there).
